This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing underwriting information to determine if individual risks meet corporate underwriting standards. Accepts, declines, or modifies policies written by the agency force while providing superior customer service.
Perform clerical and administrative support for District Claim Manager, Claim Adjusters and other Regional Claim Office staff. The Claim Support Representative I provides prompt, courteous and fair claim service.
*This is a 1st Shift position, schedule is 7:15am-3:30pm Monday-Friday*
Position exists to provide support for the Production batch Print/Mail process and ensure customer document integrity with focus on meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and statutory mailing requirements. Individuals in this role provide 1st and 3rd shift monitoring of print workflow jobs, as well as operating high-volume print and inserter machinery. Individuals in this position generate policyholder documents, claims checks, etc. for daily mail and collaborate with other technical staff to troubleshoot print job failures, as well as hardware issues with print/mail machinery.
This investment analyst position requires knowledge in multiple financial market areas such as fixed income, common stocks, and alternative investment. A strong desire to develop further expertise in the investment process is a prerequisite. Duties will include both finance and accounting related activities, such as creating investment research, analyzing market data, and resolving discrepancies.
Other responsibilities include active participation in market outlook meetings, risk tolerance, trading securities and investment related research duties. This team member may also help create and organize an economic update for distribution to the Company’s Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities include answering questions for customers, agents, State Office personnel and mortgagee/lienholders. Analyze and solve problems as they arise. Knowledge of policy coverages for all lines of insurance. Provide record of activity and substantiating evidence for use by Claims personnel and legal defense.
The Claim Representative-PIP Unit handles no-fault claims from all claim offices within the state of Kentucky to ensure efficient and effective processing of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Locations: On-site at KFB State Office in Louisville, KY
Term: May 2024 to August 2024 (term may be extended by mutual agreement of intern and hiring manager)
Provide support to the Accounting and Finance team through tasks assigned as related to accounting operations, actuarial services, financial reporting, internal audit, investments, and reinsurance.
The focus of this job will be to provide quality service to the Farm Bureau agency force by supporting Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance Agency, Inc. in the areas of policy billing, entering direct and agency bill commission statements and other processing functions. The duties of this job will be fulfilled using thorough judgment, broad technical skills, and a positive attitude, focused on adding value through excellent customer service.

Responsible for hardware and software computer support. Maintain computer equipment and software inventories. Assist in maintaining the Federation CRM membership system. Responsible for portable communication technology, copiers, purchasing supplies and assist with facility projects and special events, A/V equipment. Maintain office equipment inventories.

This position will work in a support role to the Claim, Product & Risk Management, Information Technology, and Agency Support & Marketing departments as they provide service to KFB members and stakeholders in the field. Position will allow for exposure to claim projects, claim reporting, claim handling procedures, the life cycle of the insurance policy, and the support of internal and external customers.
