  • Overview

    Actively and effectively manages all processes within the entire project lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, monitor & control, close). Oversees multiple concurrent projects within a program. Produces desired results and adds value by using appropriate techniques and level of rigor in all project management activities. Serves as a corporate change agent, engaging project teams using a non-confrontational, collaborative, consensus-driven approach.  Embraces the KFB Guiding Principles.

    Responsibilities

    Provides leadership and support, acting as a central point of contact for projects.

    Helps foster transparency across the organization by ensuring that there is a good communication flow both internally within the project teams and externally amongst other relevant stakeholders.

    Expresses ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form, exhibits good listening/comprehension, keeps all stakeholders adequately informed, and selects/uses appropriate communication methods.

    Contributes to the determination of project activities, resource requirements, skill requirements, project milestones, risks and sprint/release plans.

    Provides proper level of guidance through team development stages.

    Manages project procurement, schedules, and costs.

    Monitors, documents and communicates project status, risks, and issues.

    Assess and recover at-risk projects as needed.

    Manages and enables communication amongst team members, functional departments, business sponsors, and the supporting project office.

    Collaborates with resource managers to ensure the most effective use of the people involved in the project. Includes organizational planning, staff acquisition and team development.

    Coordinates various support teams to manage project training, project communication, and project quality plans.

    Establishes a process for controlling change to project deliverables.

    Responsible for project administration in CA Broadcom – Rally & Clarity.

    Serve as a thought leader in establishing and refining KFB best practices.

    Regular, predictable attendance as employee must physically be in the office.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS                                                                                                                       

    Physical demands: Sitting; Normal vision/hearing with or without correction; Speaking/presenting

    Mental demands: Analytical reasoning; Prolonged concentration.

    Environmental factors: Standard office lighting, temperature, and noise.

    Equipment: Computer Keyboard.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree required.

    PMI-PMP and or PMI-ACP certification preferred.

    Minimum of 3 years experience applying agile project management principles in a Project Management leadership capacity for large project teams.

    Competent in the application of Agile Program & Project Management practices to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

    Proficient with MS-Office products, MS-Project and/or other related project management tools.
