Responsible for operation trouble shooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial building, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment. Work and coordinate the work of outside vendors to ensure proper maintenance of facility and grounds. Assist with loading and transportation of equipment to various events.
Assist with trouble shooting and repairs of building and installed systems to include: Plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains grounds equipment, boilers, and HVAC.
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, painting walls, floors, and equipment.
Manage all facility contracts, verify invoices, and approve invoices for payment.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and grounds maintenance.
Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned.
Inspect building, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, perform and or oversee preventive maintenance, etc.
Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems and related fire protection system equipment as assigned.
Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits.
Ability to use technology, tablets, computers, web-based applications, building automations systems, etc.
Assist with Kentucky State Fair, Kentucky Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, and other events as needed.
Promote organization’s mission statement, goals, and objectives.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma.
2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Two years of related experience in commercial property.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Technical, vocational or on the job training in at least three of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, or plumbing.
Possess and maintains a valid driver’s license and good driving record with periodic checks.
Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Self-starter and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to interact effectively with a team concept.
Willingness to perform work assignments other than normal office hours, to meet job demands.
Ability to reason and solve problems.
