Support the Claims department as needed with general inquiry calls as necessary from calls received on the 800 line.
Provides support for event check in when appropriate

Schedules alternate switchboard personnel to cover absences and daily rotations.
Physical demands: Ability to operate 100-button Switchboard Console; Normal vision/hearing (with or without correction); Speaking; Reading (message display on switchboard console); Sitting.
Mental demands: Heavy volume during peak hours; Able to handle multiple tasks at a time; Patience to handle frequent interruptions by visitors.
Environmental factors: Standard office lighting, temperature, and noise.
Equipment: Switchboard console (100-button).
High school diploma or GED.
Effective communication skills and ability to organize.
General knowledge of company personnel and departments preferred.
Business appearance to project good public image.
Good telephone etiquette and pleasant personality.
