APPLICATION PROGRAMMER ANALYST II
Review, analyze, & modify programming systems including designing, programming, encoding, testing, debugging & installing to support organization’s distributed computer applications using IBM Datastage, MS SQL Server, Data Warehousing, Snowflake, and PowerBI Administration, take lead role in dealing with users in defining new systems; prepare technical design and program specifications; mentor software developers; and recommend vendor application and development software. A master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in business analytics, computer science, computer applications, computer information systems, math, or mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering and three years’ post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in business analytics computer science, computer applications, computer information systems, math, or mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering and five years’ post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or are required. Proficiency in using IBM Datastage, MS SQL Server, Data Warehousing, Snowflake, and PowerBI Administration as shown by three years of experience in these areas is required. The rate of pay is one hundred twenty-eight thousand five hundred eighty-six dollars, which equals or exceeds the prevailing wage on the applicable prevailing wage determination.
