*This is a Part-Time Position*
Responsible for the complete life cycle of the recruiting process. This position is responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, and closing qualified candidates for hire at all levels. Serves as the point of contact to hiring managers and applicants regarding the status of recruitment activities. Coordinates internal and external posting activities through the Intranet (KNET), KYFB.com website, LinkedIn, Handshake, or other external posting sites, and the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS). Conducts criminal history checks, reference checks, and pre-employment testing and extends employment offers.
Conducts activities related to the recruitment of internal and external applicants, including internal postings, creating recruitment ads, prescreening applicants, interviewing, checking references, recommending prospective employees for employment, and making job offers to selected candidates.
Prepares and posts open positions on the Intranet page, kyfb.com webpage, external job boards, social media, and any other posting forums.
Confirms the eligibility of internal applicants to apply for open positions and communicates with internal and external candidates on the status of their application.
Works closely with managers to coordinate and facilitate staffing activities for open positions.
Screens applicants and refers qualified applicants to hiring managers for further consideration.
Schedules and coordinates all interviews with managers and applicants.
Extends employment offers and notifies internal and external applicants not chosen for open positions.
Processes criminal background checks, social security verification, education transcripts, and credit checks if required for the position.
Communicates any potential issues found in the background screening process to the supervisor or director for further review, and documents the issue and plan of action taken if needed.
Performs all new hire administrative functions – onboarding via Paylocity, making security badges, assigning security levels, adding meal plan deductions, sending appropriate announcements, verifying I-9 documentation, and facilitating First Day Orientation.
Solicits feedback from new employees on the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process and shares the feedback and ideas with the Talent Service and HR team.
Develops and maintains relationships with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to create mutually beneficial relationships for students and Kentucky Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company through co-op and internship programs.
Helps develop talent pipelines for recruiting for both KFBMIC employees and Agent Contractors.
Assist Agency Support & Marketing in sourcing candidates interested in contracting as sales agents for KFB.
Professionally represents KFB at state and local career fairs.
Prepares status changes for transfers and promotions.
Maintains order of application files and purges documents according to legal standards.
Partners with the supervisor to update and maintain position tracking and budget tracking spreadsheets.
Administers the employee referral bonus program.
Provides internal and external customer service through greeting customers, initiating and receiving phone calls, and responding to emails.
Regular, predictable attendance as an employee has to physically be in the office.

Other Responsibilities
Assist HR Director and Talent Services Manager with the company visa sponsorship program and immigration activities required for potential and current employees to receive H1B work visas and green card processing.
Assist with the company’s relocation program and coordinate relocation activities with employees, moving companies, apartment complexes, etc.
May assist the Federation in external recruiting activities.
Assist with the activities relating to temporary workers, including: coordinating for departments, handling day-to-day temporary issues with managers, and processing and tracking invoices.
Attends seminars and other continuing education activities to keep abreast of recruiting trends and legal issues.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
Staffing experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of federal and state laws governing recruitment and selection.

Customer service orientation.
Must be a self-starter and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
