Serves as the point of contact with customers related to repairs to automobiles and motorcycles. Prepares and audits auto repair estimates, which accurately reflect the reasonable operations required to repair an automobile or motorcycle.  This is to be accomplished in a prompt, courteous, and fair manner.  Promotes and maintains positive relationships acting as a liaison with our partners and customers in the auto repair process. Will work closely with collision repair facilities to negotiate repair processes and pricing.

The property claim adjuster I provides prompt, courteous, and fair claim service on major property claims within all territory handled out of the district claim office to which he/she is assigned.  Will also function as a catastrophe team member when the team is mobilized.  All job activities should be carried out in a professional manner consistent with company policy and supervisory instruction.

Responsibilities include answering questions for customers, agents, State Office personnel and mortgagee/lienholders.   Analyze and solve problems as they arise.  Knowledge of policy coverages for all lines of insurance.  Provide record of activity and substantiating evidence for use by Claims personnel and legal defense. 

This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing underwriting information to determine if individual risks meet corporate underwriting standards.  Accepts, declines, or modifies policies written by the agency force while providing superior customer service.
